About the Practice

Care for the
Whole Person

Evidence-based counseling delivered with compassion — where your emotional wellbeing, personal values, and individual journey are always at the center.

Christian Faith Counseling PLLC provides evidence-based clinical counseling to support your emotional and psychological wellbeing. We work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and more.

Your individual beliefs, values, and comfort level will be fully respected throughout the process. If you would like Christian counseling, we can incorporate faith-based principles into your therapy — this is always guided by your preferences and will only be included at your request.

Our goal is to offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can feel heard, explore what you're going through, and work toward healing and growth.

We're honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward hope, healing, and wholeness.

Evidence-Based Care

Our clinical work is grounded in proven, research-backed methodologies — including CBT, evidence-based interventions, and contemporary mental health practice.

Your Beliefs, Respected

Your individual beliefs, values, and comfort level are fully respected throughout the process. Faith-based principles are incorporated only at your request and always guided by your preferences.

Meet Our Founder

Janell LaFaye Jordan,
LCMHCS, LPC

Janell LaFaye Jordan is a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor and author dedicated to transforming lives through the integration of evidence-based clinical practice and, where invited, Christian faith. She is currently a student of Psychology with a concentration in Theology at Liberty University.

With years of experience in the mental health field, Janell brings both professional expertise and personal compassion to every client relationship. Her doctoral research deepens her commitment to bridging the gap between psychological science and Christian theology — an approach that is holistic and honors the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

As the founder of Christian Faith Counseling PLLC, Janell has created a practice that feels less like a clinical office and more like a place where clients are met with grace, heard with empathy, and guided toward wholeness in a way that honors their unique values and journey.

Janell has also worked internationally with military service members and their families, bringing her clinical expertise to those who serve. In addition to her clinical work, she is a passionate author and educator — extending her mission of healing through books, psychoeducational resources, and video teachings to reach those who need hope and guidance wherever they are.

"Christian Faith Counseling PLLC is built on Christ centered principals and the belief that God uses the wisdom of Scripture and the insights of evidence-based practice to restore us."

— Janell LaFaye Jordan, LCMHCS, LPC
